Full Moon Poya Day Religious Events for 2011

The Chief incumbent Bhikkhu at the Austin Buddhist Center, Ven Pandit Eluwapola Gnanaratana Thero, will be performing all monthly Full Moon Poya Day Religious Activities at the Austin Buddhist Center during the year 2011.

There will also visiting monks at the temple on some events.

9:00-9:30 a.m Vipassana Meditation
9:30-10:45 a.m. Dhamma sermon
10:45-11:00 a.m. Meditation by Padith Eluvapola Gnanaratana Thero 
11:00-11:30 a.m Mid day offering to the Lord Buddha (Buddha Pooja)
11:30-01:00 p.m. Alms giving for the monks and for those  devotees observing sil
1:00-2:00 p.m. Damsak Sutta recitation 
2:00-3:00 p.m. Meditation and Dhamma discussion 
3:00-3:15 p.m. Tea Break 
3:15-3:30 p.m. Gilanpasa pooja, Bodhi pooja and Pirith chanting
